Scope and Content Note: This collection consists primarily of travel diaries kept by Anna Albertson Collins (Mrs. Lester Collins) on her numerous trips abroad between 1909 and 1965. Diaries include photographs and postcards, clippings, brochures, and stamps. The entries record daily activities and sights seen. The collection also includes arithmetic books of Chalkley and John Albertson (1780s), diaries of Elisabeth and Anna Swift (1830s-1850s), a book of verses belonging to Jane Swift (1830s), commonplace books (1834-1835), and a book of notes on businesses and recipes (1850s).
